Ingredients
- 4 large Flour tortillas
- 2 cups Shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
- 0.5 cup Salsa(optional)
- 0.25 cup Sour cream(optional)
Instructions

Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Lightly butter one side of each tortilla.

Place one tortilla, buttered side down, in the skillet.

Sprinkle about 1/2 cup of cheese evenly over the tortilla.

Place a second tortilla on top, buttered side facing up.

Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.

Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.

Repeat with the remaining tortillas and cheese.

Remove from heat, let sit for 1 minute, then slice into wedges and serve with optional salsa and sour cream.
