- 1 cup Whole milk
- 0.5 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar

- 0.25 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 0.5 cup Maple syrup(optional)

In a wide, shallow bowl or baking dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.

Preheat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.

Place 2 to 3 slices of brioche into the custard mixture and let soak for about 30-45 seconds per side, ensuring they are saturated but not falling apart.
