Ingredients

  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Neutral oil (canola/vegetable)
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce(optional)
  • 1 tsp Sugar(optional)
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch(optional)
  • 2 tbsp Water(optional)
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil(optional)

Instructions

    Prep (about 10 minutes): Cut broccoli into bite-size florets. Mince garlic.

    Cook (about 15 minutes): Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch broccoli for 1–2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain well.

    In a small bowl, stir together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.

    Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry 20–30 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).

    Add broccoli to the pan and toss to coat. Pour in the oyster-soy mixture and stir-fry 1–2 minutes until glossy and lightly thickened. Turn off heat and drizzle with sesame oil if using. Serve immediately.
