Ingredients
- 4 large Flour tortillas
- 2 cups Cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1.5 cups Shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 0.5 cup Canned black beans, drained and rinsed(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Butter or vegetable oil
- 0.25 cup Salsa(optional)
Instructions

In a medium bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the taco seasoning until evenly coated.

Place two tortillas on a flat surface. Distribute half of the cheese evenly over the tortillas.

Layer the seasoned chicken and black beans over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese and the other two tortillas.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add half of the butter or oil.

Carefully place one quesadilla in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.

Flip the quesadilla and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the second side is crispy and the cheese is fully melted.

Repeat with the second quesadilla.

Let rest for 1 minute before slicing into wedges. Serve with salsa if desired.
