Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 0.66 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Fuji or Honeycrisp apple, diced
  • 1 pinch Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped walnuts(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a wide-mouth glass jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds.

  2. 2

Add the ground cinnamon and a pinch of salt, stirring to distribute the spices evenly.

  3. 3

Pour in the almond milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

  4. 4

Stir the mixture thoroughly until no dry clumps of oats or chia seeds remain.

  5. 5

Gently fold in the diced apples until they are submerged in the liquid.

  6. 6

Seal the container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, or ideally overnight.

  7. 7

In the morning, give the oats a good stir; if the mixture is too thick, add a splash of extra milk.

  8. 8

Top with chopped walnuts and extra fresh apple slices before serving cold.
