Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Pork chops (bone‑in, about 200 g each)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce (low‑sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Erythritol
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Freshly ground black pepper(optional)
  • to taste Salt (optional, for seasoning)(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, tomato paste, erythritol, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and garlic powder to form a low‑carb BBQ‑style hoisin glaze.

  2. 2

Pat the pork chops dry, brush each side with olive oil, then season lightly with black pepper and optional salt.

  3. 3

Place the chops in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the glaze over them, turning to coat evenly. Marinate at room temperature for 5 minutes while you preheat the grill (this counts toward the 9‑minute prep time).

  4. 4

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium‑high heat (about 400°F/200°C). Grill the pork chops for 4 minutes per side, basting with any remaining glaze, until a charred crust forms.

  5. 5

Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for an additional 6‑8 minutes total, flipping once, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  6. 6

Remove the chops from the grill, let rest 3 minutes, then slice against the grain and serve.
