15-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes(optional)
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt and black pepper

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet.

Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, then return the shrimp to the pan.

Toss the shrimp to coat thoroughly in the sauce and serve immediately.
