- 6 large Granny Smith Apples
- 50 g Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 175 g All-Purpose Flour
- 110 g Unsalted Butter
- 110 g Demerara Sugar
- 50 g Rolled Oats(optional)

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Peel, core, and slice the apples into 1cm thick wedges.

Place the apples in a baking dish and toss with the granulated sugar and cinnamon.

In a separate bowl, rub the cold butter into the flour using your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Stir the demerara sugar and oats into the flour mixture.

Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apples, but do not press it down.

Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
