Spicy Shrimp Fra Diavolo

Ingredients
- 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 ounces Linguine or Spaghetti
- 28 ounces Crushed tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes
- 0.5 cup Dry white wine(optional)
- 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt and black pepper

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.

While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet for 1 minute per side until just pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Deglaze the pan with white wine (if using) and simmer until reduced by half.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir in the fresh parsley. Cook for 2 more minutes until shrimp are fully cooked through.
