Ingredients
- 1 lb Penne or Fusilli pasta
- 0.75 cup Basil pesto
- 0.5 cup Heavy cream
- 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 pinch Red pepper flakes(optional)

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.

While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and basil pesto. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes, ensuring it does not reach a rolling boil.

Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy pesto sauce. Toss well to coat, adding reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
