Ingredients

  • 1 lb Linguine pasta
  • 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup Green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper(optional)

Instructions

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente.

    While the pasta cooks, toss the shrimp in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

    Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add shrimp and sear for 2 minutes per side until pink, then remove and set aside.
