Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Cooked white rice
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds(optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Green onions, sliced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.

  2. 2

Pat the salmon fillets dry, then season lightly with salt and pepper; heat a non‑stick skillet over medium‑high heat and sear the salmon, skin side down, for 4‑5 minutes until crisp.

  3. 3

Flip the salmon, brush generously with the glaze, and continue cooking for another 3‑4 minutes, basting once more halfway through, until the fish is opaque and the glaze is glossy.

  4. 4

While the salmon finishes, steam the cooked rice or reheat it in the microwave.

  5. 5

Serve each salmon fillet over a bed of rice, drizzled with any remaining glaze, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
