  • 10 pieces Chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil(optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds(optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Green onion, sliced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat a smoker to 225°F (107°C) and place a pan of water inside to maintain moisture.

  2. 2

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the teriyaki glaze.

  3. 3

Pat the chicken wings dry, season lightly with salt and pepper, and arrange them on the smoker rack.

  4. 4

Smoke the wings for 30 minutes, then brush with half of the teriyaki glaze and continue smoking for another 10 minutes.

  5. 5

Brush the remaining glaze onto the wings, smoke for an additional 5 minutes until the glaze caramelizes and the wings are cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).

  6. 6

Remove the wings, sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onion, and serve hot.
