Ingredients

  • 6 large Granny Smith Apples
  • 0.5 cup Salted Caramel Sauce
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 0.75 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter, chilled
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.

  2. 2

Peel, core, and slice the apples into 1/4 inch thick wedges.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice and 1/4 cup of the salted caramel sauce until evenly coated.

  4. 4

Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  5. 5

In a separate medium bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt.

  6. 6

Cut the chilled butter into small cubes and work it into the oat mixture using a pastry cutter or your fingers until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  7. 7

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.

  8. 8

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.

  9. 9

Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce over the top before serving warm.
