Ingredients
- 300 g salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce(optional)
- 1 tsp honey(optional)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp neutral oil (or sesame oil)
- 180 g pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 2 stalks green onion(optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, then reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain.
- 2
While pasta cooks, pat salmon dry and cut into bite-size pieces. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear salmon until browned and nearly cooked through, about 6–8 minutes total.
- 3
Stir in garlic and ginger and cook 30–60 seconds. Add teriyaki sauce (and soy sauce/honey if using) and simmer 2–3 minutes until glossy and lightly thickened.
- 4
Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss, loosening with a splash of reserved pasta water until the sauce coats the noodles. Simmer 1–2 minutes to meld flavors.
- 5
Serve immediately, topped with sliced green onion and sesame seeds if desired.
