- 2 pieces Salmon fillets
- 0.25 cup Basil pesto
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Olive oil
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese(optional)

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Drizzle the salmon with olive oil and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.

Spread a generous layer of basil pesto over the top of each fillet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
