One-Pan Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest(optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes(optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Instructions

    Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper.

    In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

    Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

    Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

    In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

    Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce.

    Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
