Ingredients
- 2 slices Sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons Basil pesto
- 3 slices Fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2 slices Tomato
- 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Balsamic glaze(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions

Spread one side of each bread slice with butter.

Flip the slices over and spread the other side of both slices with basil pesto.

Layer the mozzarella slices, tomato slices, and fresh basil leaves on one slice of bread (pesto side).

Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using, then top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.

Preheat a panini press or a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Place the sandwich in the press or skillet. If using a skillet, weight it down with a heavy pan.

Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Slice diagonally and serve immediately.
