Ingredients
- 200 g Tagliatelle pasta
- 150 g Camembert cheese, rind removed and chopped
- 150 ml Heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 clove Garlic clove, minced
- 60 ml Dry white wine(optional)
- 2 tbsp Fresh chives, chopped(optional)
- to taste Black pepper
- to taste Salt
Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tagliatelle according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- 2
While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 3
Add the white wine (if using) and simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce slightly, then lower the heat and pour in the cream.
- 4
Add the chopped Camembert and whisk gently over low heat until fully melted and the sauce is smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
- 5
Toss the drained pasta into the sauce, adding a splash of reserved pasta water as needed to reach a silky consistency. Season with salt and black pepper.
- 6
Divide between two plates, sprinkle with fresh chives, and serve immediately.
