- 1.5 cups Water
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 2 tablespoons Black Tea Leaves
- 3 pieces Green Cardamom Pods
- 1 inch Fresh Ginger
- 1 small piece Cinnamon Stick
- 2 pieces Cloves(optional)
- 2 teaspoons Sugar

Crush the cardamom pods, ginger, and cinnamon stick lightly using a mortar and pestle to release their oils.

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the crushed spices and cloves.

Simmer the spices for 2-3 minutes until the water becomes fragrant and slightly tinted.

Add the black tea leaves and sugar, then simmer for another 2 minutes.

Pour in the milk and bring the mixture to a rolling boil.

Watch carefully so the milk doesn't spill over. Once it rises, lower the heat and let it simmer for 1 minute.
