Ingredients

  • 8 oz imitation crab sticks, shredded
  • 6 flour tortillas (small, 6-inch)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jalapeño, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, sliced(optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp cooking spray or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, mix the shredded imitation crab, cream cheese, mayonnaise, gochujang, garlic powder, diced jalapeño, green onions, and half of the shredded mozzarella until well combined.

  3. 3

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture onto the edge of each tortilla, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and roll tightly into a taquito. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

  4. 4

Lightly spray or brush the taquitos with oil and bake for 18-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  5. 5

Let cool for 2-3 minutes, then serve warm, optionally with extra gochujang or a dipping sauce.
