- 2 pieces Salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Gochujang paste
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
- 1 cup Cooked white rice
- 2 stalks, sliced Green onions(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions
- 1
In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to form the glaze.
- 2
Pat the salmon fillets dry, season lightly with salt, and heat a non‑stick skillet over medium‑high heat.
- 3
Add the salmon, skin side down, and sear for 4‑5 minutes until the skin is crisp; flip and cook another 3‑4 minutes.
- 4
Brush the glaze over the salmon during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to caramelize slightly.
- 5
While the salmon finishes, reheat the cooked rice and divide it between two plates.
- 6
Serve each salmon fillet on top of the rice, drizzle any remaining glaze from the pan, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
