Ingredients

  • 2 packs Instant ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced(optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Carefully lower the eggs into the water and boil for exactly 6 minutes and 30 seconds, then immediately transfer to an ice bath.

  2. 2

In the same boiling water (or a fresh pot), cook the ramen noodles according to package directions until al dente, discarding the flavor packets.

  3. 3

While noodles cook, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.

  4. 4

Drain the noodles and toss them into the skillet with the garlic butter and soy sauce, coating thoroughly.

  5. 5

Peel the eggs and slice in half. Serve the noodles in bowls topped with the soft-boiled egg, green onions, and seasoning.
