Ingredients

  • 20 oz Cheese Tortellini
  • 15 oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Basil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes(optional)

Instructions

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Pour in the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 5-7 minutes to thicken slightly.

    Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, whisking until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
