Ingredients
- 1 lb Fettuccine or Spaghetti
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 4 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth
- 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- to taste Salt and Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Mince the garlic cloves finely.
- 2
In a large pot or deep skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- 3
Pour in the broth and add the dry pasta. Ensure the pasta is mostly submerged.
- 4
Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, for about 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
- 5
Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Continue to cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
- 6
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
