- 6 medium Roma tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 3 cloves Garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Balsamic glaze(optional)
- 1 loaf Baguette
- to taste Salt and black pepper

Dice the tomatoes and place them in a colander for 5 minutes to drain excess liquid.

In a medium bowl, combine the drained tomatoes, finely minced garlic (2 cloves), chopped basil, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper, then let it sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds and brush both sides lightly with the remaining olive oil.

Toast the bread slices under a broiler or on a grill until golden brown on both sides.
