Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 12 sheets Lasagna noodles
- 24 oz Marinara sauce
- 15 oz Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 large Egg
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Dried oregano(optional)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

Stir the marinara sauce into the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the parmesan cheese.

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Layer 3-4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture and a sprinkle of mozzarella.

Repeat the layers (sauce, noodles, ricotta, mozzarella) until all ingredients are used, ending with a thick layer of mozzarella and remaining parmesan on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
