Chicken Parmigiana Sliders

Mini breaded chicken patties served on rolls with extra sauce and melted cheese for parties.

Ingredients

  • 12 count Slider buns
  • 12 pieces Breaded chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 6 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried parsley(optional)

Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook the breaded chicken cutlets according to package instructions until crispy and fully cooked.

    Slice the entire pack of slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the individual rolls connected if possible. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.

    Place one cooked chicken cutlet on each bun bottom.

    Spoon about a tablespoon of marinara sauce over each chicken piece.

    Layer the mozzarella cheese slices over the sauce and sprinkle with half of the parmesan cheese.

    Place the top half of the buns over the cheese.

    Melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush the tops of the buns with the garlic butter and sprinkle with the remaining parmesan.

    Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.

    Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately.
