Ingredients

  • 20 oz Cheese tortellini
  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes
  • 8 oz Fresh mozzarella pearls
  • 0.5 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 0.25 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic glaze
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder(optional)
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Instructions

    Cook the cheese tortellini in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions (usually 5-7 minutes).

    Drain the tortellini and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and cool them down quickly.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled tortellini, halved cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella pearls.

    Whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

    Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to coat.
