Ingredients
- 2 slices Sourdough bread
- 3 ounces Fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium Roma tomato
- 1 tablespoon Basil pesto
- 4 leaves Fresh basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon Balsamic glaze(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions

Preheat a panini press or a heavy skillet over medium heat.

Spread the basil pesto evenly on one side of each bread slice.

Layer the sliced mozzarella, tomato slices, and fresh basil leaves on one slice of bread.

Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using, then top with the second slice of bread.

Butter the outside of the sandwich on both sides.

Place the sandwich in the press or skillet. If using a skillet, weight it down with a heavy pan.

Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is thoroughly melted.
