Ingredients
- 500 g Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 small Carrot
- 1 stalk Celery
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 800 g Crushed Tomatoes
- 250 ml Beef Broth
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- to taste Salt and Pepper

Finely dice the onion, carrot, and celery to create a soffritto.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and sauté the diced vegetables until softened, about 8 minutes.

Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.

Stir in the minced garlic and tomato paste, cooking for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beef broth, then add the dried oregano.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
