Ingredients
- 1 pound Ziti pasta
- 32 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano(optional)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley(optional)

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ziti until slightly firm (2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente). Drain.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the parmesan, and the oregano.

In the large pot used for the pasta, toss the cooked ziti with the marinara sauce and the ricotta mixture until well combined.

Pour half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Top with the remaining pasta mixture and the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
