Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Slider buns or Pav rolls
  • 4 medium Boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Green chili and ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 4 tablespoons Garlic chutney (Dry Lehsun Chutney)
  • 3 tablespoons Melted butter
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Besan (Gram flour)(optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds; once they crackle, add the ginger-chili paste and turmeric.

    Add the mashed potatoes and salt to the pan, mix thoroughly, and cook for 3 minutes before stirring in fresh cilantro.

    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking tray.

    Slice the entire pack of slider buns horizontally in half, keeping the individual rolls connected.

    Spread a generous layer of dry garlic chutney on the bottom half of the buns.

    Spread the potato mixture evenly over the chutney layer and place the top half of the buns back on.

    Brush the tops of the buns generously with melted butter mixed with a pinch of garlic chutney or herbs.

    Bake for 12-15 minutes until the buns are golden brown and slightly crispy on top.
