Ingredients
- 1 pound Ziti pasta
- 24 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano(optional)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley(optional)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Cook the ziti in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the parmesan, and oregano.

In the large pot used for the pasta, toss the cooked ziti with the marinara sauce and the ricotta mixture until well combined.

Spread half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, then top with the remaining pasta mixture.

Top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
