Ingredients
- 1 pound Large shrimp
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 0.25 cup Dry white wine(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes(optional)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
- to taste Salt and black pepper

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.

Return the shrimp to the pan, toss with the sauce and fresh parsley, and serve immediately over pasta or with crusty bread.
