  • 1 cup Fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 8 ounces Firm tofu, cut into matchsticks
  • 1/2 cup Bamboo shoots, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili oil(optional)

    In a large pot, bring the vegetable broth to a gentle boil over medium heat.

    Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms and bamboo shoots to the broth and simmer for 5 minutes.

    Stir in the soy sauce and white pepper, ensuring the pepper is well incorporated without clumps.
