Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon fillet, skin removed and cubed
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
  • 1 stalk Green onions, sliced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the marinade.

  2. 2

Place the salmon cubes in a bowl and pour half of the marinade over them. Let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

Heat the sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

Add the salmon cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until a golden crust forms.

  5. 5

Flip the salmon cubes and pour the remaining marinade into the pan.

  6. 6

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to bubble and thicken into a sticky glaze that coats the salmon.

  7. 7

Remove from heat once the salmon is cooked through and the sauce is glossy.

  8. 8

Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
