Stir-Fry Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 lb Flank steak
- 4 cups Broccoli florets
- 0.33 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions

Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced ginger, minced garlic, and cornstarch in a small bowl to create the sauce.

Thinly slice the beef against the grain into bite-sized strips.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and 2 tablespoons of water; cover and steam for 2 minutes. Remove broccoli and set aside.

Wipe the skillet, add the remaining oil, and increase heat to high. Add beef strips in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes.

Return the broccoli to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture.

Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coated the beef and broccoli.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately over rice.
