Ingredients

  • 2 portions Ramen noodles
  • 4 cups Chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 halves Soft-boiled egg(optional)
  • 2 stalks Green onions, sliced
  • 2 sheets Nori seaweed(optional)

Instructions

    In a medium pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the ginger and garlic, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add the chicken stock, soy sauce, and mirin to the pot. Bring to a gentle simmer and let cook for 10 minutes to meld flavors.

    While the broth simmers, boil a separate pot of water and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain well.

    Divide the cooked noodles into two deep bowls.

    Pour the hot broth over the noodles.

    Top with soft-boiled eggs, sliced green onions, and nori sheets before serving.
