- 8 ounces Sashimi-grade salmon fillet
- 2 tablespoons Yuzu juice or lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Pure sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
- 1 piece Garlic clove, thinly sliced into chips
- 1 tablespoon Chives, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame seeds
- 1 pinch Maldon sea salt(optional)

Thinly slice the salmon into bite-sized pieces and arrange them in a single layer on a flat, heat-proof serving plate.

Place a small dot of grated ginger and a sliver of garlic on each slice of salmon.

Drizzle the yuzu juice and soy sauce evenly over the entire plate of salmon.

Sprinkle the chopped chives and toasted sesame seeds over the fish.

In a small saucepan, combine the sesame oil and olive oil and heat over medium-high heat until the oil begins to smoke slightly.

Carefully and quickly pour the smoking hot oil mixture directly over each piece of salmon to sear the surface and aromatics.
