- 200 grams Korean rice cakes (tteok)
- 1 package Instant ramen noodles
- 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1.5 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 cups Anchovy broth or water
- 100 grams Fish cakes, sliced
- 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
- 2 pieces Hard-boiled eggs(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame seeds(optional)

Soak the rice cakes in cold water for 10 minutes to soften them if they are refrigerated or frozen.

In a shallow pot or large skillet, combine the broth, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, and sugar.

Bring the liquid to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring to ensure the chili paste is fully dissolved.

Add the rice cakes and fish cakes to the pot, reducing the heat to medium.

Simmer for 5 minutes until the rice cakes begin to soften and the sauce starts to thicken.

Add the dry ramen noodles into the center of the pot, pushing them down into the liquid.

Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the noodles are al dente and the sauce has reached a syrupy consistency.
