Ingredients
- 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.25 cup Dry white wine or chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes(optional)
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
- to taste Salt and black pepper

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and just opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the white wine (or broth) and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and allow the liquid to reduce by half, about 2 minutes.

Whisk in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and the sauce is emulsified.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss with the sauce and fresh parsley for 1 minute to heat through.

Serve immediately over linguine or with toasted bread.
