- 6 cups Chicken broth
- 1 cup Fresh shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Bamboo shoots, shredded
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Ground white pepper
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 large Egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup Firm tofu, cut into matchsticks(optional)
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 stalks Green onions, sliced

In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer over medium-high heat.

Add the pork strips, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots to the simmering broth and cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and white pepper, adjusting the pepper to your preferred spice level.

In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of cold water to create a slurry.
