Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground pork
- 2 cups Napa cabbage, finely shredded
- 40 pieces Round dumpling wrappers
- 3 stalks Green onions, minced
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 0.5 cup Water
Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, shredded cabbage, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes slightly tacky.
- 2
Place a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface. Put about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center.
- 3
Wet the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half over the filling and pinch the edges together, creating small pleats on one side to seal.
- 4
Heat vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the potstickers in the pan in a single layer, flat side down.
- 5
Fry for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Carefully pour the water into the skillet and immediately cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to medium and steam for 5-7 minutes until the water has evaporated and the pork is cooked through.
- 7
Remove the lid and cook for another minute to re-crisp the bottoms. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
