Ingredients
- 1 pound Flank steak
- 4 cups Broccoli florets
- 0.5 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, minced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds(optional)

Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch to create the sauce.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the broccoli and 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes, then remove broccoli from the pan.

Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan. Add the beef in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes.

Return the broccoli to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture.

Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coated the beef and broccoli.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately over rice.
