Ingredients
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 150 grams Margarine or cold butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Cold water
- 500 grams Sausage meat or ground pork
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Bouillon powder
- 1 large Egg (for glazing)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.

Rub the cold margarine into the flour mixture using your fingertips until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Gradually add cold water and knead gently until a stiff dough forms; wrap and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.

In a separate bowl, season the sausage meat with onion powder, thyme, nutmeg, bouillon, and black pepper, mixing thoroughly.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle and cut into smaller long strips.

Place a thin log of the meat mixture along the center of each strip, fold the dough over, and seal the edges with water or egg wash.

Cut the long rolls into desired lengths, place on the baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
