Louisiana Hot Honey BBQ Chops

- 4 pieces Bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)
- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning blend
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 cups Peanut oil for frying
- 1 cup Hickory BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup Wildflower honey
- 2 tablespoons Louisiana-style hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

Whisk the flour with 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning in a shallow bowl, and place the buttermilk in a separate bowl.

Dredge the pork chops in the flour, dip into the buttermilk, and dredge again in the flour for a thick coating.

Heat peanut oil in a heavy skillet to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and fry the chops for 4 minutes per side until golden brown but not fully cooked through.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine BBQ sauce, honey, hot sauce, cayenne, vinegar, and butter; simmer for 5 minutes until glossy.

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.

Place the fried chops on the grill and generously brush with the hot honey BBQ reduction.

Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, reapplying the sauce frequently, until the glaze is tacky and the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Remove from heat and let the meat rest for 5 minutes before serving with a final drizzle of the remaining sauce.
