- 1 pound Ziti pasta
- 24 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ziti for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente.

In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot; toss with 1 cup of the marinara sauce to prevent sticking.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Layer half of the pasta in the dish, followed by dollops of the ricotta mixture and half of the mozzarella cheese.

Top with the remaining pasta, the rest of the marinara sauce, the remaining mozzarella, and the remaining Parmesan.
