Ingredients
- 16 oz Ziti pasta
- 32 oz Marinara sauce
- 15 oz Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

- 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the ziti for 2 minutes less than the package directions for al dente.

In a medium bowl, whisk the egg and then stir in the ricotta cheese, half of the parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot; stir in the marinara sauce and the ricotta mixture until well combined.

Pour half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

Add the remaining pasta mixture on top, then finish with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden brown on top.
