Homemade Lasagna Bolognese

Ingredients
- 500 g Ground Beef
- 250 g Ground Pork
- 12 pieces Lasagna Sheets
- 700 ml Tomato Purée
- 1 large Onion
- 1 medium Carrot
- 1 stalk Celery
- 1 liter Whole Milk
- 100 g Butter
- 100 g All-purpose Flour
- 150 g Parmesan Cheese
- 1 pinch Nutmeg(optional)
Instructions

Sauté finely chopped onion, carrot, and celery in olive oil until softened.

Add ground beef and pork, browning thoroughly and breaking up clumps.

Pour in tomato purée, season with salt and pepper, and simmer on low heat for at least 90 minutes.

Prepare the béchamel by melting butter, whisking in flour, and gradually adding milk until thickened. Season with salt and nutmeg.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a baking dish, layer a small amount of Bolognese, followed by pasta sheets, more Bolognese, béchamel, and Parmesan.

Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with a generous layer of béchamel and Parmesan.

Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
