Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground pork
- 40 pieces Gyoza wrappers
- 2 cups Napa cabbage, finely minced
- 3 stalks Green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 0.25 cup Water
Instructions
- 1
Squeeze excess moisture from the minced cabbage using a paper towel or cheesecloth.
- 2
In a large bowl, combine pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes slightly tacky.
- 3
Place a gyoza wrapper in your palm. Put a teaspoon of filling in the center.
- 4
Wet the edge of the wrapper with water. Fold in half and create pleats along one side to seal tightly.
- 5
Heat vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- 6
Place gyoza in the pan in a circular pattern and fry for 2 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
- 7
Pour in the water and immediately cover with a lid. Steam for 5 minutes until the water has evaporated.
- 8
Remove the lid and cook for another minute to re-crisp the bottoms. Serve with dipping sauce.
